We, the members of Srinagar Jyoti Chakra Foundation celebrated 6th foundation day ceremony on 12th January’2025 with the celebration of 162 yrs birth anniversary of Sri Swami Vivekananda. On that day we provided educational materials like Exercise books, Drawing Books, Drawing materials,, School bags Scale Rubber Pen Pencils etc. and also provided sweets and snacks to 150 students of Boalia Free Primary School at Boalia Garia Ward No – 6, Kolkata – 700084. The teachers of the School contributed their valuable time and effort and extended their hands and worked hard with the members of the Jyoti Chakra Foundation. Our donors have contributed the heart and with this team work we have been successfully completed the programme. We also solved their permanent water supply with the help of contribution of our donor.
On 29th of December 2024 Mr. and Mrs. Goutam Sengupta have distributed food packet to the poor aged persons on be half of Srinagar Jyoti Chakra Foundation.
On 28th September 2024 we have distributed new dresses to the Orphans at Madhyamgram Saheb Bagan Anath Ashram at Madhyamgram, 24 Parganas North
Supplied dry food for the old persons at GANDHAR an old age home near New Garia Metro Station ( Muri, Biscuits , Chira , Chhatu, fruits, Mug Water bollte , Bed Sheet etc on 14.07.2024 and also supplied food for meal ( Rice, Atta, Soyabin, Mastered oil, Sugar, Biscuits ) for the old age home at Janmabhumi situated at Dakshin Barasat, 24 Pgs South
Like every year this year also we distributed new dresses to 35 students about 6 to 15 years of age at Tollykhola in Bangaon which is the poorest area. We also arranged for a special meal for them which is sponsored by one of our donor. We give special thanks to the donors for their heartfelt donation.
On 10th September 2023, Sunday we the members of Jyoti Chakra Foundation , 56 Srinagar Main Road, Kolkata - 700094 organised a voluntary blood donation camp with the full cooperation and support of Mangal Chandi Charitable Trust, Srinagar Main Road, Kolkata - 700094 at Mangal Chandi Bhaban, Srinagar Main Road, Kolkata - 700094, Thanks to Mangal Chandi Charitable Trust for cooperating us. Special thanks to Peoples Blood Centre for extending their full cooperation of collecting bloods. very very special thanks to the donors for giving their valuable blood with a great fillings of saving valuable lives.
In the year 2020 (1st Year), We started our school at Betberia in Canning District with 35 students from the poor family whose parents are farmer. We provide them uniform, food, education and education materials, books, etc.
IN THE PANDAMIC PERIOD WE PROVIDED THEM SANITIZE MATERIALS, MASKS, ETC. BEFORE DURGA PUJA FESTIVAL WE PROVIDED THEM NEW GARMENTS TO THE BENEFICIERIES OF BETBERIA. IN THE YEAR 2022, WE EXTENDED OUR WORKING AREA IN MADDHOMGRAM WITH THE COOPERATION OF MAA THERA CHA BALIKA ASHRAM. THERE WE PROVIDED NEW GARMENTS BEFORE DURGA PUJA FESTIVAL TO 75 STUDENTS FROM CLASS 1 TO 5 AND ALSO MET WITH THE ORPHENS AND PROVIDED FOOD.
In winter season of 2021, we provided blankets for the 35 students at Betberia School.
